Allant Cited by Independent Research Firm as a Market Leader with an Industry High Satisfaction Rating Among Database Marketing Service Providers

Naperville, Illinois, USA – January 16, 2006 – Allant, a Marketing Optimization solution provider, today announced it has been cited as a “Leader” in The Forrester WaveTM: Database Marketing Service Providers, Q1 2006, an evaluation of the top database marketing service providers across 125 criteria.  Allant is classified as one of three innovators and leaders within the industry.

The report, The Forrester WaveTM: Database Marketing Services Providers, Q1 2006, was published on Tuesday, January 10, 2006. Forrester began its evaluation process with a list of more than 100 companies that provided outsourced database marketing services and selected ten vendors to evaluate in depth based on current offerings, strategy and market presence. Within the “leaders” category, Allant was one of three database marketing service providers that are “in the zone” of innovators in this year’s report. 

In the Forrester WaveTM Vendor Summary, Q1 2006 titled Allant: A Market Leader Among Database Marketing Service Providers, also published January 10, 2006, it specifically states that “Allant’s comprehensive analytical solutions are focused on customer retention – and represent major innovation.”   According to the Vendor Summary, “Allant goes further than most: Its entire approach to service delivery is grounded in a long-term customer analysis and analytics framework based on customer life-cycle management and long-term value.”

The Allant Vendor Summary also recognized that Allant’s “analytically driven philosophy and business-friendly delivery have earned it exceptional marks from clients: above or far above industry-average scores in each of the four areas we measured, including an industry high satisfaction rating.”  The four areas that were measured for client satisfaction include technical flexibility and responsiveness, execution and operations reliability, proactiveness around new marketing tactics and strategies and whether or not clients would recommend their provider to others.

The Forrester Research methodology included a combination of three sources to assess each provider’s strengths and weaknesses: vendor surveys, customer reference surveys, and customer, prospect, and partner telephone interviews.  The top ten database service providers were assessed against 125 criteria grouped into three high-level buckets: current offering, strategy and market presence.  Vendor summaries for each firm were completed and the final results for each are detailed in the report.
