Allant Announces Dedicated Cable Industry Team

Naperville, Illinois, USA – August 6, 2007Allant announced today the formation of a new Cable Industry Team that will be operating as a dedicated group to the Cable industry.  The Allant team is focused on helping cable operators use analytics and database marketing to maximize the value of their consumer and business customer relationships.

Allant works with an operator’s corporate and field marketing teams to 1) maximize new connects at the lowest possible cost, 2) grow and migrate customers to new product lines and premium content consumption and 3) deploy proactive retention programs that minimize defections.

With the advent of the triple play of video, data and voice services, the telecommunications competitive landscape has changed significantly. Cable has a unique opportunity to define the future of the market, including new content distribution, direct revenue, and advertising business models.  But competition is as stiff as it is varied.  Telcos, satellite providers, and overbuilders are all gunning for cable customers.  Allant’s belief is that there is currently a window of opportunity for the cable industry to upgrade its analytical marketing capabilities, systematically lock in gains, and build competitive advantage over telco and satellite competitors.
