Pre-Sales Solution Engineer

About the role:

We are seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer to join Allant Group.  This role is the subject matter expert and plays a critical role in managing the company’s new pre-sales practice designing customer solutions.  The Pre-Sales Solution Engineer is a terrific opportunity to drive revenue growth by working closely with Allant’s internal sales team to understand customer needs, articulate the value of our solutions, and develop customized solutions that meet customer requirements. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in MarTech, analytics and big data, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.  While this position is a remote one, there may be minimal travel to Allant corporate office and/or client locations. 

Role Requirements:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
  • Work with customers to understand their business needs and develop customized solutions that meet those needs.
  • Deliver engaging and persuasive presentations and product demos to key stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support during the sales process, including responding to RFPs and answering technical questions.
  • Conduct technical evaluations and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the value of our solutions.
  • Create and deliver technical proposals and RFP responses.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide customer feedback and influence product development.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of the solution.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive offerings.

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role, with a focus on martech, analytics and big data solutions.
  • Strong technical background in big data technologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
